Abstract

This watercolor and gouache painting shows the intersection of Larimer and 17th (Seventeenth) Streets in Denver, Colorado; traffic and streetcars are by storefronts with signs: "Coca Cola" and "Manhattan Rooms." This is where Soapy Smith (Jefferson Randolph Smith) had his tavern.
