Abstract

Contains the following type of materials: oral histories.<br />Contains information pertaining to the following military units: Chaplain Corps.<br />General description of the collection: The Chaplains Oral History papers include a total of 16 chaplains and Chaplain Corps personnel interviews done under the Senior Officer Oral History Program, the vast majority of which deal with the Vietnam-era Army. There are two from World War II and one from Desert Storm. The single heaviest denominational influence is the Roman Catholic Church, with small representations of Protestant, Episcopal and Jewish.
