Abstract

Results indicate that the DnaA paralog protein physically interacts with the TrfA initiation protein and that the cellular distribution of both the proteins is similar being mainly localized to inner membrane. Data show that the toxicity by the TrfA peptide, encoded by the plasmid RK2, is suppressed by DnaA protein from the host.
