Abstract

Tips are provided for doctors who may be replacing their sphygmomanometer with a device that does not contain mercury. A sphygmomanometer is the device that is used to measure blood pressure. It is still the best method for measuring blood pressure, but it contains mercury, which is an environmental and health hazard.
