Abstract
- Research has been conductsd on nicotinic acetylcholine receptors which contain alpha7 subunits. The hypothesis that functional expression of these receptors may be inhibited by the additional cysteine forming alternative disulfide bonds with the concerved cysteine of the disulfide loop has been tested, and the results are reported.
