Abstract

Research describes the development of a luminescent cyanobacterial biosensor, which detects a range of compounds encompassing different herbicide types and toxins. The biosensor incorporates Synechocystis sp. strain PCC6803 with has luciferase gene, which expresses during the growth of the cyanobacterium.
