Abstract
- The COX-2 inhibitor celecoxib may be more effective than indomethacin in stopping premature labor because it has fewer side effects. This was the conclusion of a study of 24 pregnant women in premature labor. Indomethacin has been used to stop premature labor since the 1970s, but it has serious adverse effects on the baby.
