Abstract
- The exorbitant compensation package of Tyco International ex-CEO Kozlowski, recently bailed out of prison by his ex-wife, is compared to that of GE ex-CEO Jack Welch, whose ex-wife exposed the more lavish aspects of his retirement benefits. Bank of Japan's announced strategy of buying equities to help struggling commercial banks has damaged the country's bond market.
