Abstract

The integration of mathematical realism and rationalism is discussed, an approach that provides a basis for a rationalist metaphilosophy. Topics include mathematical knowledge, examples of separatism between realism and rationalism, and a metaphilosophical alternative to Wittgenstein and Quine.
