Abstract

Research has been conducted on the elongation factors Tu and G, the GTPase activity of which is stimulated by ribosome. The kinetics of elongation factor-G and elongation factor-Tu reactions on the ribosome has been investigated in the presence and absence of L7/12 proteins and the details are reported.
