Abstract

Research describes the synthesis, structure, spectroscopic, and electrochemical characterization of ruthenium-bpea complexes starting with ruthenium compounds. The complexes belong to the monoclinic P2(sub)1/m space group with the ruthenium metal center exhibiting a distorted octahedral geometry. They maintain their structure in aqueous solution.
