Abstract: Organizations that cooperatively innovate with each other go through the following four co-innovation strategies: autonomous strategy making; cooperative strategy making; founding a co-innovative joint organization; and the realization of innovations. The interfirm network approach is used here to describe and apply these stages to a Dutch construction industry research project.
