Abstract

Research has been conducted on the spinal cord oligodendrocytes. The role of chemokine CXCL1 and its receptor CXCR2 in patterning the developing spinal cord has been investigated and the results indicate that the presumptive white mater population by oligodendrocyte precursors depends on localized CXCL1 expression.
