High-temperature, high-pressure hydrothermal synthesis, crystal structure, and solid state NMR spectroscopy of a new vanadium(IV) silicate: Rb (sub)2 (VO)(Si (sub)4 O (sub)10).xH (sub)2 O

Research has been conducted on the vanadium(IV) silicate. The synthesis of this compound has been carried out via the use of high-pressure, high-temperature hydrothermal method and the results indicate that this compound's structure is different from those of the synthetic silicate and of the natural mineral polymorphs.
