Abstract

MyBus, funded by the US Department of Transportation's (DOT) Intelligent Transportation Systems program, provides departure-time estimations and delivers traveler information, covering King County Metro's transit region, in the Seattle area, to Web browsers and cell phones. MyBus shows that such large-scale arrangements are manageable and practical.
