Abstract
- X-ray crystallographic structure shows details of the structural requirements for an effective substrate binding and an efficient carbon dioxide hydration system as revealed by the mutant carbonic anhydrase-substrate-inhibitor complex analysis. Data reveal a new binding site for bicarbonate in the mutant enzyme.
