Abstract

Results show that the Bacillus thuringiensis InhA2 zinc metalloprotease plays a significant part in promoting virulence when the host is infected orally as indicated by the ineffectivity of the spores of the inhA2 deletion mutant strains and effectivity of the inhA deletion mutants in providing synergism to infection.
