Abstract: Research has been conducted on the alkaloid cephalocyclidin A isolated from Cephalotaxus harringtonia var. nana fruits. The structure of this alkaloid with the fused-pentacyclic skeleton and six-consecutive asymmetric centers has been investigated and the results are described.
