Regioselective palladium-catalyzed alkylation of allylic halides with benzylic Grignard reagents. Two-step synthesis of abietane terpenes and tetracyclic polyprenoid compounds

Research has been conducted on regioselective alkylation of allylic compounds. The results of the palladium-catalyzed alpha-alkylation of allylic bromides and chloride with unsubstituted and substituted benzylic Grignard reagents are reported.
