Abstract
- Research examines 36 polypeptides of yeast type 1 protein phosphatase capable of interacting with the Glc7p protein complexes from yeast. Data indicate that the Glc7p is a component of the cleavage and polyadenylation factor complex and mediates type 1 protein phosphatase dephosphorylation in the regulation mRNA 3'-end formation and processing.
