Synthesis and thermolysis of alkyl- and phenylamido diphenylgallium, [Ph (sub)2 GaN(H)R] (sub)2. Isolation and structural characterization of (PhGaNMe) (sub)7 and (PhGaNPh) (sub)4

Research has been conducted on the alkyl- and phenylamido diphenylgallium compounds. The preparation of these compounds via the reaction of Ph (sub)3 Ga with the primary amines and alanine has been carried out and the results indicate that the compounds have bridging amido groups and produce trans and cis isomers in solution.
