Abstract
- The author discusses the European Court of Justice's decisions in Parfums Christian Dior S.A. v. Tuk Consultancy BV and Assco Geruste GmbH v. Wilhelm Layher Gmbh, in which the court clarified its jurisdiction to hear cases where the EU and its member states are parties to international agreements, such as the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights.
