Abstract: Research on Atlantic Ocean hydrothermal vents around the Azores plateau suggests that vent fluid toxicity changes and suspended mineral particles produce composition and structure variations in hydrothermal vent communities at the depth gradient. Vents included in the study were the Rainbow, Menez Gwen and Lucky Strike vents.
