Abstract

This article discusses the application of an analysis of the poetry of Walt Whitman, a speech given by the CEO of Hewlett-Packard, and the words of a first-grade teacher by a high school teacher. The authors examines how this high school teacher was able to create a learning model which expands intelligence and achievement by utilizing the powerful messages offered by Whitman, the CEO, and the first-grade teacher.
