New pillared layered gallium phosphonates in the gallium/1,2-ethylenediphosphonic acid system

Research has been conducted on the gallium phosphonates, the structures of which depend on their preparation conditions. The isolation of Ga (sub)4 (O (sub)3 PC (sub)2 H (sub)4 PO (sub)3 ) (sub)3 and Ga (sub)2 (OH) (sub)2 ( O (sub)3 PC (sub)2 H (sub)4 PO (sub)3) has been carried out and their structures have been solved via the single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
