They can have a dramatic impact on how [...]<br />Nurse preceptors are essential to the development of new nurses, especially considering the worsening nursing shortage following the pandemic. This study used a mixed methods survey (n=139) to examine the motivation, perceived barriers, and supports for nurse preceptors post-pandemic. Results and implications for healthcare leaders are discussed.
