Abstract
- Many gay and bisexual drug addicts in San Francisco still engage in behaviors that increase their risk of HIV infection, such as needle sharing and unprotected anal sex. The number of gay and bisexual addicts who were HIV-positive decreased between 1988 and 1996 but then began to increase.
