Abstract
- This article provides a comprehensive overview of pediatric nursing&apos;s history, from its origins in the 1600s to the present day. It explores the development of pediatric nursing education, the introduction of family-centered care, the rise of pediatric-specific training programs, and the challenges faced by today&apos;s nurse educators. Emphasizing the importance of experiential learning and culturally competent education, this article highlights the ongoing need to prepare nurses for the complex and dynamic field of pediatric care.
