Abstract

Research has been conducted on the oligomeric metal complexes. The single stereospecific photosubstitution of the CO ligand trans to a bridging ligand has been investigated in a symmetric dimeric precursor in preparing the route to liner oligomeric Re(I) polypyridine complexes and the results are discussed.
