Ternary lanthaniod ruthenium gallides with a high gallium content: Ln (sub)2 Ru (sub)3 Ga (sub)10 (Ln= Yb, Lu) with a new stucture type and LnRu (sub)2 Ga (sub)8 (Ln= La-Nd) with CaCo (sub)2 Al (sub)8 -type structure

Research has been conducted on the ternary lanthaniod ruthenium gallides with high gallium content. The preparation of these compounds has been carried out via the elemental component reaction at high temperatures and the results are presented.
