Abstract
- The spring bloom to the ecology and life of two fishes, Electrona anatarctica and Bathylagus anatcticus, is investigated with respect to nutritional conditions and diet across three zones differing in ice cover. Results indicate that E. antarctica increases its feeding before the spring bloom, whereas in B.antarcticus there is a decrease in lipid reserves.
