Lisa Loeb fellowship: cultural encounters as a lens for foreign language acquisition and pedagogy

The Lisa Loeb Fellowship allows those who are studying to be foreign language teachers to spend 6 month in a country where the language they are learning is spoken. This not only builds language skills but also builds knowledge of the culture surrounding the language.
