Abstract
- This article explores the self-concept of children from three different cultural groups in relation to academics and non-academic subareas. The authors, investigating children from Asia, Africa, and Australia/United States, found that African children has the most positive self-concept, Asian children had the lowest self-concept in non-academic subareas, and children from Australia/United States had the lowest positive self-concept regarding academics.
