Abstract
- This review examines the necessity of establishing a database for quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSAR) of chemical-biological interactions for applying bioinformatics to the biological systems. Data indicate that lack of hydrophobic terminology hinders interpretation of biological activities occurring at the cell surface and membrane systems from mechanistic organic chemistry point of view.
