Abstract: Research has been conducted on the nudibranch genus Phyllidiopsis distributed throughout the tropical indo-Pacific, eastern Pacific, Northwest Atlantic and Caribbean Sea. The phylogeny and the evolution of these species characterized by having geographic and bathymetric distribution among dorid nudibranches have been investigated and discussed.
