Abstract: It has been possible to use a macromonomer technique to synthesize and characterize complex dendritic, rigid rod poly-2,7-fluorene homopolymers and copolymers. Self-encapsulation in a dendritic matrix produced site isolation of the fluorescent poly-2,7-fluorene backbone.
