Abstract
- Anisotropy of surface acoustic wave (SAW) propagation along single crystal substrates yields efficient control of the calibration curve, sensitivity, threshold value, and resolution ability of SAW-based gas sensors. Control can be managed for a given sorbent film by changing the substrate material and its crystallographic orientation.
