Effect of Li doping on the charge ordering state of La0.5Ca0.5MnO3

Abstract: Research into the impact of Li doping on the charge ordering state of perovskite-type manganates La0.5Ca(sub 0.5-x)Li(sub x)MnO3 with x = 0, 0,05, 0.1, 0.15 and 0.2 is presented. It was found that Li doping can destroy the charge ordering state and induce the ferromagnetic metallic state.
