Abstract: Research is presented describing the testing of the electromagnetic characteristics of the Central Solenoid Model Coil (CSMC) and the Central Solenoid Insert. The CSMC is a solenoid that has 18 concentric layers, and is wound with an Nb3Sn cable-in-conduit conductor, and enclosed with Incoloy.
