Abstract
- The harmonic balance technique has been used to investigate the impact of permanent dipole moments of quantized states on intersubband harmonic generation based on quantum-interference induced transparency in semiconductor quantum wells. It is concluded that the permanent moments prompt a shift of the pump photon energy at which the conversion efficiency is greatest.
