Dissecting the cofactor-dependent and independent bindings of PDE4 inhibitors

Research has been conducted on the type 4 phosphodiesterase, a metallohydrolase catalyzing the hydrolysis of cAMP to AMP. The dissecting of the cofactor-dependent and independent binding of the inhibitors and the catalytic activity of the type 4 phosphodiesterase has been investigated via the developed [(super)3 H]rolipram equilibrium-based binding assay.
