Abstract

Iron metal is used as a permeable reactive barrier to reduce nitrobenzene in order to determine the importance of external mass transport in relation to rates of surface reaction. Graphs of the kinetics of the experiment are modeled, along with the rates of reduction compared to groundwater velocity.
