Abstract

Research has been conducted on the phylloquinone secondary electron acceptor A (sub)1. The environment of this acceptor within the photosystem I reaction center has been investigated via site-directed mutagenesis of tryptophan residues in the Chlamydomonas reinhardtii PsaA sumunit.
