Abstract
- Middle-school and high-school students compete in a tournament with robots they make from Legos and processors at the Botball championships held in Austin, Texas, in 2000. It was founded by the technical director of the KISS Inst. for Practical Robotics. He says Botball is a good way to get young people interested in robotics and programming and sometimes to get them to stay in school. Other regional tournaments are encouraged.
