Abstract
- Strains of Listeria monocytogenes that cause outbreaks of invasive listeriosis may have differences in their DNA sequences compared to strains that cause outbreaks of non-invasive listeriosis. In a study of 32 strains, only infrequent-restriction-site PCR was able to distinguish the two types of strains.
