Abstract

This article investigates the effects of physical activity on blood glucose homeostasis in patients with Type 2 diabetes and diabetes prevention. Findings indicate that although exercise does not significantly influence glucose control in diabetics, high physical activity levels are associated with a reduced risk of developing Type 2 diabetes.
