Abstract

Along with the wide spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the world, anti-Asian--especially anti-Chinese--incidents have risen rapidly, particularly in the United States. This article intends to relate current narratives to established oral tradition and argue for the role that traditional knowledge plays in cross-cultural encounters and contexts.
