Abstract
- This article examines long-term changes in the accuracy of social stereotypes in first-year sorority sisters by comparing subjects' perceptions with individuals' self-ratings. Findings indicate that participants were consistently more accurate with in-group than out-group judgements and that accuracy significantly increased over the first year.
