Abstract

Borland International reports net income of $2.1 million on sales of $25.9 million for its 4th qtr ended Mar 31, 1989, but experienced a loss of $2.8 million for the entire year. Babbage's reports net income of $463,000 for its 1st qtr ended Apr 29 1989, a 116.3 rise over the 1st qtr last year, on sales of $18.4 million. Tandy reports earnings of $266.6 million for the nine months ended Mar 31, 1989, an increase of 2.9 percent over the year earlier nine months, on sales of $3.28 billion.
