Abstract: Interventional pulmonology uses endoscopes, lasers, cryotherapy, electrocautery, and stents to treat lung diseases such as airway obstruction and compression, tracheobronchomalacia, and lung cancer. Details of these operations are provided along with an algorithm for managing central airway obstruction caused by a tumor.
